A little love from the mums I've had the privilege of supporting.
MURRAY
6 months old | The Little Sleepy Head Consult
Sometimes the biggest changes happen gradually. Before Shannon reached out for sleep support, Murray was having lots of overnight wakes, catnapping for 30–45 minutes and needing lots of support to settle, but even that support wasn’t always effective.
During our time together, we worked on building some really solid foundations. We created a settling approach that Murray actually responded really well to, which did take a little bit of trial and error, and gradually helped Murray become more and more comfortable sleeping independently.
Over time, his naps became longer, his nights became more consolidated, and independent sleep started coming together.
RYAN
10.5 months old | The Little Sleepy Head Consult
From 10+ wakes to “I can breathe again.”Britt came to me feeling completely exhausted and unsure how to move forward.
Where we started:
10+ wakes overnight
Short cat naps
Longer naps requiring lots of active support from Mum
Finding it difficult to settle with other trusted caregivers
Mum feeling overwhelmed by the crying and unsure how to move forward with things she had already tried
What we worked on:
Nutrition & night feeds. We adjusted some nutrition factors to help gradually drop those night feeds and rely less on calories overnight.
Building on the foundations. We worked on routine and timing to create more optimal sleep pressure around bedtime and heading into the night.
A clear settling framework. Britt had a clear plan she could use when settling became difficult, rather than having to figure it all out in the moment.
Where they are now:
Ryan is down to 0–2 night wakes. Nights became significantly more consolidated, with 0–2 wakes now being the norm.
A 2.5-hour lunch nap. His daytime sleep changed dramatically too, with a 2.5-hour lunch nap becoming possible.
More confidence. Britt also felt much more confident with settling Ryan, including with Dad and his grandparents.
“I now feel like I can breathe again.”
“I no longer get those ‘night time scaries’ like before.”
“I also feel like I have my happy baby back!”
Sleep progress can look like sleeping all night in the cot. It can be getting a solid two-hour stretch, learning to resettle after a wake, or finally being able to put Bub down and have five minutes to yourself.
It might be getting Bub comfortable with Dad settling them, having a little more flexibility in your day, or simply feeling less stressed when sleep doesn’t go to plan.
And honestly, sometimes the biggest change is just feeling confident about what to do next.
There is no one version of “better” at Snug.
We went from 15 wakes a night to 2!!!! It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever done BUT SO WORTH IT!! The sleepless nights, are no longer. And what do you mean we actually have a routine now??? This has been life changing for my family- can not recommend Tam enough!!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the past three weeks. I honestly feel so supported and guided after our time together. You’ve given me so much clarity and reassurance that I’m on the right path, and I’ve learnt more than I even expected to in such a short time.
I really appreciated the way you could gently redirect me when I needed it, without ever making me feel unsure of myself. That balance meant a lot and helped me grow in confidence in what I’m doing.
I’m genuinely so sad our time has come to an end, but I’m also so grateful for everything you’ve shared with me. I know I’ll carry this with me moving forward. Thank you again for everything.
